Extract PDF Pages
Take the pages you actually need and leave the rest. Select any combination of pages and they are written into a single new PDF, in the order you list them. Handy for lifting the two pages of a form you have to return, or the one page of a report worth circulating.
How to extract pdf pages
- Load the PDF. Drop in the source document. Its page count is read locally.
- Choose the pages. List the pages you want, for example 2, 5, 9-11. The order you list them is the order they appear in the output.
- Extract and download. Click Extract. A single new PDF containing just those pages downloads to your device.
Things worth knowing
- Extraction produces one combined file. To get one file per page, list each page as its own range in the split tool instead.
- Listing pages out of order (9, 2, 5) reorders them in the output — you can extract and rearrange in one step.
- The source PDF is never modified; you always get a new file.
Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript, so the file never leaves your device — there is no server to upload to. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
What is the difference between extracting and splitting?
Extracting gathers your chosen pages into one new PDF. Splitting cuts the document into several PDFs by range. Use extract when you want a single tidy subset, split when you want the document broken into parts.
Can I extract pages in a different order?
Yes. Pages appear in the order you list them, so extracting 9, 2, 5 gives you a three-page PDF in exactly that sequence.
Are form fields and links kept?
Links within extracted pages generally survive, but interactive form fields and bookmarks are not carried across.
