How to image to pdf
- Add your images. Drop in JPG or PNG files. Add as many as you need — each becomes one page.
- Set the page order. Drag the images into the sequence you want. This is the page order in the finished PDF.
- Convert and download. Click to build the PDF. Pages are assembled locally and the document downloads.
Things worth knowing
- Each image becomes a single page sized to that image, so a mix of portrait and landscape photos produces a PDF with mixed page sizes.
- Images are embedded at their original resolution — a folder of 12-megapixel photos makes a large PDF. Shrink the images first if size matters.
- The result is a picture of text, not text. To make it searchable you would need OCR, which this tool does not perform.
Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript, so the file never leaves your device — there is no server to upload to. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
Which image formats can I convert?
JPG and PNG are the reliable inputs. If you need to bring another format in, convert it to PNG or JPG first with the image format converter, then bring it here.
Can I put several images on one page?
No — this produces one page per image. Combining several photos onto a single page needs a layout tool rather than a converter.
Why is my PDF so large?
Because the photos are embedded at full resolution. Converting them to JPG at a lower quality setting first, using the image converter, typically cuts the PDF size dramatically with little visible difference.
