How to convert images
- Drop in your files: drag PNG, JPG, WebP, or PDF files into the upload area (or click to pick).
- Pick an output format: PNG, JPG, WebP, or PDF.
- Tune the quality: if the output is JPG, WebP, or PDF, use the quality slider to trade size vs fidelity.
- Convert: click Convert. Preview each result, then download individually or grab everything as a ZIP.
About this converter
Most online image converters upload your files to a server, process them, and serve them back. That's fine for casual use, but for private photos, design assets, contracts, or sensitive screenshots, it's not ideal, the server becomes a copy of your data. This converter never uploads anything. Conversion happens entirely in-browser using the HTML Canvas API for raster formats and pdf-lib for PDF output.
Format guide
- PNG: lossless, supports transparency. Best for icons, logos, screenshots, and any image where you need crisp edges.
- JPG / JPEG: lossy, smaller files. Best for photos and anything without transparency. Quality slider controls the trade-off.
- WebP: modern lossy format with ~30% smaller files than JPEG at the same quality. Widely supported (including iOS 14+).
- PDF: combines one or more images into a single PDF document, one image per page. Great for sharing galleries or printing.
Quality tips
- For photos: JPG or WebP at 80–90% usually looks identical to the original.
- For screenshots with text: prefer PNG, or WebP at 95%+ to avoid blurring.
- Converting PNG to JPG flattens transparency onto a white background.
- WebP and JPG both discard EXIF and color profiles by default.
Privacy
All conversion happens locally in your browser. No image data is ever transmitted to a server, no analytics are recorded against the files you convert, and the tool works fully offline once the page has loaded.
